Abstract

Different nanoparticles zinc oxide (ZnO), and tin dioxide (SnO2) were prepared by different methods (autoclave and sol-gel). The nanoparticles were annealed at different temperatures (90°C and 400°C). The structures and surface morphology were characterized by Uv/Visible and FT-IR measurements, x-ray diffraction (XRD), Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The nanozymes (enzyme mimetic) activity as Catalase (CAT), and Peroxidase (Pxase) were measured. The results of nanozymes activity showed there is a maximum activity as CAT for ZnO (90°C ) while there is a maximum activity as Pxase for SnO2 (90°C), and there are decreasing in the activity for both nanoparticles when annealed at 400°C.
