Abstract
Forest Fires are as old as the forests themselves. They are most common hazard in the forest. Forest
fires pose a threat not only to the forest but also to the entire regime of flora and fauna seriously
disturbing the biodiversity and ecology and environment of the region. It is one of the most alarming
challenges of our times.
